Problems with Mobile Menu in WP 5.5

  • Hi.. After the update to WordPress 5.5 the mobile menu (or the main menu in mobile view) does not works but for every menu item you click it redirects always to the Home page..

    Installing and activating the plugin Enable JQuery Migration Helper is a workaround that solves the issue but the theme MUST be updated with a fix as soon as possible..

  • In there, you can select a static page for homepage and another page in blog page. The setting is there itself. It is WordPress core setting.

    Set Your homepage displays as A static page
    Select a static page for Homepage
    In Posts page, select a page for articles

    Found the Blog template to create a static empty page that shows the articles..

    I thinked that this can solve the menu issue but not..

    I’ll check sites again tomorrow to see if cached items are expired, if not I’ll reactivate the plugin..

    Same bug for me dude on Safari (iPhone)
    It’s not a cache problem.
    Please try on real device, because they are no bugs in Chrome mobile debug console.

    Mobile menu does not work again.. It’s not a cache issue, try with several browsers, cleaning the cache, etc.. The only way is activating the pkugin Enable JQuery Migrate Helper, without the menù always remains in the home page every item you click..

    Hi.. Updating theme to 4.2.1 and now the mobile menu does not works and does not appears..!! And also the desktop menu does not works.. Disaster..!! Why..??

    [UPDATE] After cleaning cache and cookies it seems work..

    Theme updated this morning and the mobile menu finally works without the plugin but the personalized links are shows as sub-items and sub-items are not indent son for the surfer is not easy to understand that are sub-items.. Is possible to fix or have a css snippet to correctly formatting the menu..? Thanks

    I have the same problem! My website hamburger menu doesn’t open up when using mobile phone. It used to work perfectly but somehow the navigation not working in mobile phone. I use elementor to create navigation menu. Please can anyone help me? Thanks!!
