Hi, I am having problems with the mobile version of my site https://www.iamallmelanin.party

For some reason my mobile site defaults to a plain, blue mobile site with none of my sidebars or footers. When you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the entire page, there is a button that says “View Full Site.” Clicking that takes you to my actual mobile site, with the Pinnacle theme and all my designs.

So this is a problem because 1) mobile viewers can’t see my actual site, they see some plain-style site, and 2) anyone who wants to view the full site on mobile can’t do that because “View Full Site” takes you to my designed mobile site and “View Mobile Site” takes you to the plain site.

I first asked the support team at my hosting company, Siteground, about. They were able to duplicate the error, and they suggested that I update the theme (which I did, didn’t work) and that I ask you guys, as they believe it is a theme-related issue. Here is their response:

Thank you for contacing our help desk.

I managed to recreate the issue as well.

The site itself loads just fine, but the theme will not load (at least not until we request the full site). After requesting the full site the theme loads but I think in its mobile version. So it is as if the mobile/full switch is inverted.

I think that this might be a strictly theme-related issue. It would be best to have one of the theme’s support have a look at the settings and see if they find anything.

I also noticed that the current version of the theme is not the latest one (1.4.4). Apparently there is an update available. It may be worth having the theme updated to the latest version and see if the issue persists.

    Best Regards,

I know this is a super long request but I don’t know how to upload my screenshots to this forum so I just want to explain the problem as clearly as I can. Do you know what’s causing this? How I can fix this? I’ve tested it on both Android and iPhone devices and it does this on both.

Any help or direction would be so, so appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi afrikablam,
Sounds to me like you have a plugin enabling this. Try deactivating your plugins one by one to test. Let me know if there’s no change.
