Problems with oEmbed of WooCommerce products

Hi,

I have changed theme’s to the essence pro studiopress child theme and discovered the oEmbed functionality in which I can just paste a link of a single product or an event (the events calendar) and get a nice card introducing this product or event. It was a nice alternative for the shortcodes the previous theme offered and was native wordpress, so I thought it would just work.

That was the case untill I installed genesis connect for WooCommerce and found that using your plugin broke the oEmbed functionality of WooCommerce products (events still work). I don’t know why, but when I have activated Genesis connect for WooCommerce only a blockquote is shown and not the product card I would expect.

In Google Chrome Browser the result is even worse. First it shows only the blockquote and stops there, but when I hover over the blockquote link it overlays a iframe over the content showing the top of the single product page, instead of the card that is normally shown.

I haven’t debugged any further, since it was faster for now to just switch to WooCommerce Customizer (with genesis support) that doesn’t cause this problem. The theme however keeps wanting me to install this plugin instead. When this is solved, I will.

Can it be that the custom template needs some refreshment? Please fix.
