Problems with old and new versions

Hi! I’m using HTML Player version 1.3. Recently player’s progress bar stopped to show playback progress. Sound file is playing, but progress bar is not being filled – only current time is ticking correctly. I tried to install newer version 2.2.1, but before any settings and license number entering it firstly breaks side bar and then ends up in message from WordPress: “Error establishing a database connection”. If I revert to old version 1.3, all works fine. How to fix that problem with progress bar? Thanks for reading.
