• I am using version 3.0.1 of wordpress and since I have upgraded I cannot get access to the ‘Pages’ from the dashboard, I am getting a blank page.

I have gone through all my plugins and deactivated and one by one and it seems there are about 7 plugins that cause the blank screen to happen, and they are ones I use a lot.

Has there been a fix for this that I don’t know about?

  • Not unless the plugin developers have upgraded their plugins. ?? Have you tried switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

I am having this exact same problem, I have switched themes (no change), deactivated all plug-ins (no change), re-installed plug-ins (no change)– so did you find a solution to the problem?

This happened to me once when a theme was using a generic variable like $name. I had to change the variable name to $themename to fix it.

Not sure if this is the same problem you’re having though.

I’m having the same problem, which just started recently. Where would I search for the $name variable?
