Problems with permalink redirect

I’ve updated to 2.3.1 and everything seemed to be working fine. However, when I tried to go to the next page of posts on the blog, it sputtered for a while and gave me an error message saying something along the lines of “Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.” I figured out that the problem is being caused by Permalink Redirect plugin, and I disabled it. However, I need to have Permalink Redirect on…so is there a way to solve this problem without disabling the plugin? What’s the cause of it?
