    Hi guys,
I’m an the developer of Phoenix Media Rename, a user reported an issue that can be related to SG Optimizer but I can’t reproduce it on my development server because SG Optimizer works only on SiteGround hosting.

I try to explain the issue:
Phoenix Media Rename add the capability to rename the files in the media library, when a file is renamed my plugin update every post to change the old name with the new one.

When he rename the images, some of them disappears, he use SG Optimizer to create WEBP copies of the images.

I think that my plugin need to update the informations about the WEBP copies, but I don’t know how to develop this kind of functionality because I can’t activate SG Optimizer.

Do SG Optimizer have some API to regenerate WEBP copies or to update the information stored in database?

Do you have some other suggestion?

    C.

    Hey @crossi72

I’ve tried to replicate the issues, but every time when I rename a file in the media library everything is working as expected.

It is possible to give me a site URL where I can check the issue?

    Regards,
    Stanimir

    Hi @sstoqnov,
I can’t reproduce the issue because I can’t activate SG Optimizer, I asked @vigyx (the user that asked for assistance) to add some information in this thread to help us find the problem source.

    thank you for your assistance.
