Problems with Punctuation

  • Hi,
    I recently had to restore a backup of my database.
    Since then any posts that have puntuation, such as apostrophes, dashes or speech marks have combination of other symbols in there place. An example can be found on the post below

    I have followed advice in a forum post from 5 years ago which can be found below which did not work.

    I am running wordpress 3.2.1 and would appreciate if anyone could provide advice.
    I am not the most gifted when it comes to coding and work in the database so if you could gentle that would be much appreciated.
