When using your plugin 6.3.5 it results in a 500 error:
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 245760 bytes) in …/wp-includes/class.wp-scripts.php on line 497

Increasing memory from 256MB to 384MB doesn’t have any effect. Even the 6.3.6 version (not released yet, but we were able to download it directly) had the same issue. Rolling back to version 6.3.4 fixed it.

  • Hi,

Welcome to the QSM Support forum. Hope you are doing well.

I noticed your response regarding the issues on the pro forum. Let me forward your concern to the development team.

Also, I inspected the link of the homepage you mentioned above. I was unable to see any error on the homepage, even in the ‘console’ tab of the Google inspector tool. Can you please mention where you see this error?.

    Kind Regards,
    Kriti

    Hi Kriti,

I’ve investigated the issue on this site. The plugin is used on pages in a member area (Wishlist Member), so they are not visible in the publicly accessible area. The pages are build with Thrive Architect.

If you compare it with the Home or Contact page, the content area wasn’t loaded (so only the red frame and header). The only thing that was visible on that spot was “A critical area has occurred” (or similar). The error mentioned in the original post was the only thing in the error log.

For now the version was rolled back to 6.3.4, because the site needs to be used by visitors.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

As I am not seeing any error on the Home page or on the contact page. What step do you want me to take now?

    Regards,
    Kriti Sharma

As I explained twice already, the error isn’t visible because it’s on a restricted page and the plugin has been rolled back to 6.3.4 to make it work again (if something works, you don’t get an error).

Please contact the developer and ask to check the code changes between 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 to inspect them for something that can cause a memory leak, resulting in the error we already gave you in the original post.

Ok, I am forwarding the issue to the development team.

    Regards,
    Kriti

We just wanted to test if the new 6.3.6 update would solve the issue, but we noticed that all the quizzes were gone. I’m not sure it that’s related to changing the versions or something else happened, but this activates a new scenario.

There was already a plan to rebuild the site and as there were no active members at the moment, we have decided to put the site in maintenance mode and start rebuilding.

So if this is the only ticket regarding this issue, you can mark it as “solved”, as we are not going to put more time in this.

    Kind regards,
    Jos Klever
