Problems with Shortcode

    I have installed the NextGen Gallery plugin as well as the the e-Commerce plugin. Both of them work fine in the administration panel. However, when I insert the shortcode (e-commerce does it automatically) all I get is a blank page. The rest of the page loads fine, but there is no content when I know for certain there is.

    I have checked to confirm magic_quotes were disabled as well as that we had 40MB of memory allocated (these are answers I found as I was looking around).

    Any suggestions on what could be causing the short code to “short out” (pun intended)?

    I did a complete re-install of the wordpress files and am now on 2.6.2 and still no luck. Any thoughts?

    I ma fairly new to WordPress and desperately need some help. Any suggestions about what could possibly be causing the shortcode for these things NOT to work?

    The issue was with the theme. The pages had used the smarty template. Once I took that out all the shortcode began to work again. Have not researched the specifics of “why” but will and will post once I do.
