• Hello, I am not sure about the technical terms so sorry for possible confusion. I have started a new blog now and can see that suggested sizes of images when I import them into a blog are different every time. On my previous blog I set three sizes in appearance -> media and these three sizes were visible as options when loading image. and I could choose which size I want. And all the images were of uniform size throught the blog. Now I cannot do it anymore. Every image has different options (inconsisntent with three options I set in appearnace -> media). What could be wrong here? I will be grateful for any suggetions as this is driving me nuts ??

    Thank you!

    miriam

  • Some themes have special sizes in the functions.php file.

    What theme are you using?

    Hi Miriam,
Please, let us know which theme you are using.

Sorry for the delay – I was away for short holidays. I am using Parallax Pro from Studiopress. The SP technical support claims everything is fine. Even though they had me run regenerate plug-in just to make all my featured images are of equal size. And since I am not an IT person, I am unable to determine whether it is a WP problem or a theme problem.
    My site is here: https://zencity.pl/

Thank you so much! I am getting really frustrated with this.

That link doesn’t work unless you’re logged in. Anyway, You’ll need to follow up with Studiopress if you’re still having problems. I hope they can help you. Good luck!

    Commercial Products
If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations. Doing this will provide the developer with the income they need to make WordPress awesome.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Thank you for checking. Unfortunately, SP says it is problem with WP not with the theme. So what can I do now? (The site is accesible now. I had forgotten to switch off private settings. Sorry for this!)

Use a default wordpress theme like 2014 or 2013, disable all plugins and see if the problem is still there.

Thank you for you help! I have used 2013 and disabled all plug-ins just as you had said. The problem is still there.

I’m still seeing the paralax theme. You will need to do some diagnostics here to figure out what is wrong while plugins are off and default theme is loaded.

You can read thru the steps written out here. Make sure you follow them all.

I have changed back – after I have made sure the problem is still there. Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, it seems incredibly complicated and beyond my IT knowledge. At least now I know I need to find someone to help me out.
