    Hello,
I am using the 1.20.10 version of the plugin and having problems with uploading it to the Spotify and iTunes services.
With Spotify, when I submit my RSS feed address to Spotify, I get the following error:
“your podcast RSS is missing some things: episodes, Email address.
With iTunes when I submit my RSS feed address to Spotify, I get the following error:
“No episodes exist in your feed”
“Can’t submit your feed, there is no category tag in your feed, or the category tag is empty”.
“Can’t submit your feed, there is no explicit tag in your feed, or the explicit tag is empty”.
All the above-mentioned errors are there even though I do have tags in my podcast plugin and a valid Email in the settings tab. I do also have two episodes already uploaded and working on the website. I have done my best to find answers online for this problem but was unable.
Therefore, I am sending this email in hope that you will be able to guide me through the steps needed so I could connect my podcast to this streaming services.
    Many thanks in advance

Hi @omermak it appears that the Powerpress plugin is now active on your site. Has it been this way all along? If you’re wanting to use SSP please deactivate Powerpress first before trying to troubleshoot any feed issues. As the two plugins do some of the same things it’s best to only have one active on your site at a time.

Once that’s done let us know and we can check out your feed when it’s created through SSP.

    Hi
    iv’e deleted the Powerpress plugin.
    it worked for Spotify! thanks.
    for iTunes i get:

“Podcast artwork must be between 1400 x 1400 and 3000 x 3000 pixels, JPG or PNG, in RGB color space, and hosted on a server that allows HTTP head requests”.

my cover image is 1400X1402 and in PNG format, so i can’t understand why it’s not working

and also, i only get the first episode on Spotify

HI there. the image has to be exactly square (so 1400px by 1400px). One pixel out of square and Apple will reject it.

thanks! now iv’e been able to submit to iTunes.
but it seems as it can only read my first episode.
any idea why it won’t show the second one?

    hi,
any idea why the plugin and the feed don’t include my second episode?
i have two but the feed shows only one

    Hello @omermak,

There are two possibilities why you may be experiencing this behavior. First, doublecheck in your WordPress Dashboard under Settings > Reading and make sure the number of posts in the Syndicated feed is set to more than one. The second area to check is under Podcast > All Episodes to see if you have two episodes. On occasion you can publish to a regular post and the episode won’t display because the plugin utilizes the custom post type of Podcast. Take a look at those two things to see if either is a solution for you.

    hi
my reading is set to 10 posts, and it does show me two episodes on the all episodes. but it still shows only 1 episode on the feed

    hi
any idea why i still get only one episode? even tried to re-post the second one

    Hello @omermak,

Take a look under Podcast > All Episodes to make sure you have published the episode as a Podcast post. Second, if you are using the Series functionality on your site make sure the podcast episode is assigned to the correct Series. You can do this in the Inspector Tools on the right side of the editor window under series. Let us know if those solutions do not work for you.

    Good afternoon,

I’ve problems with uploading to Spotify. I have no episodes yet, but Spotify is still asking for my e-mail adres. How can i solve this? Because i filled in my e-mail adres in the SSP plugin under Feed-details.

    Here is my feed:

    Hi Danny,

It’s likely that Spotify is having issues because you don’t have any episodes live in your feed yet. A valid feed must have at least 1 active, live episode in it. I’d give that a try and see how the submission process there goes.

    Good afternoon,

I’ve had problems with uploading my podcast to Spotify. I’ve already uploaded one episode, but Spotify is still asking for my e-mail address. How can I solve this?

    Thank you!
