• Recently bought a Wildcard SSL certificate from Bluehost (my hosting service). The intention was to have store.blueian.com/checkout have SSL in order to allow the PayPal plugin to work on the site. Whenever I go and try to check out now the site redirects to ww.blueian.com. I can’t figure out why it’s redirecting, or even if the SSL is actually being applied to store.blueian.com in the first place. I’ve tried working with this tutorial: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/766 but I’m at a loss as to what I should be doing.

I am currently using the Shelf Life theme from WooThemes, and WooCommerce. In order for the plugin to work, WooComerce requires a forced SSL.

I am a novice, and would appreciate any and all help! If I’ve left out any important details, let me know, and I’ll do the best to help you.

  • What is the name of the PayPal plugin? Also, check your .htaccess at Bluehost, it sounds like its directing to blueian.com instead of the “store” subdomain. Renaming it from “.htaccess” to “.htaccess.backup” or something similar will let you know if that is indeed the problem.
