    Hello,

From the site you have posted, you are currently using GTM4WP, so the tag is linked to Google Analytics. Please try deactivating it and inserting the tag into Complianz by following this guide: Definitive Guide to Tag Manager and Complianz.

Please don’t forget to clear the cache or make an exception for Complianz in your cache optimizer and check if everything is parsed on googletagassistant.com.

    Hope it helps

Hello, thank you very much for responding.

We have a question about whether we have to follow all the steps in that manual or if there are two options:

    1. Set up Complianz or
    2. (Step-by-step) Firing tags based on consent in Tag Manager

In WordPress, is it necessary to add the Tag Manager code and have it active in GTM4WP as well? We have noticed that if we deactivate the plugin, TagManager is not read.

    Thank you very much

    Hello,

if you want to activate the Consent Mode with our plugin you and you don’t need GTM4WP you can:

    1) Disable GTM4WP
    2) Follow the 1st scenario of this guide https://complianz.io/simplified-guide-to-google-consent-mode-v2/ (if you want to use GTM4WP too you’ll see also the “GTM4WP Procedure Note”)

This way you’ll be able to activate the Consent Mode for all the compatible tags (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Floodlight, Conversion Linker), then if you have other services embedded with Tag Manager which are not compatible with the Consent Mode you’ll follow the guide my colleague sent you, section “Custom Events in Tag Manager” and “How to create a trigger with a custom event”

We have followed all those steps and it doesn’t work. We have the free version, does it only work with the paid version?

We urgently need help, we’ve been dealing with this for several months and it’s not working.

    We have more websites like:
    https://sofaschacal.com/
    https://tienda.beltafrajumar.com/
    https://sofaralia.com/
    https://sivanasleep.com/

And we can’t get it to work on any of them.

    Thank you

    Hello,

All the tags fired correctly on all sites. I highly suggest checking your Google configuration first, this might be the main issue.

However, I noticed that all the sites you linked are using GTM4WP. Please try disabling it to see if that resolves the issue. Follow the guide I linked to you initially: “Definitive Guide to Tag Manager and Complianz Step 1 & 2.” Once done, if you want to configure the consent mode, you can follow scenario 1 here: Simplified Guide to Google Consent Mode V2.

    Hope this helps!

Hello, we have followed all those steps on sofaschacal.com. We only need to accept the consent mode since we are using the free version of Complianz. It doesn’t work, do we have to pay for a license and then it will work? As it appears to be in BETA mode… We don’t want to buy the license and then it doesn’t work. Can’t it be solved without buying a license?

    I have attached a screenshot.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    thanks for your message.

I confirm the Consent Mode works only with the Premium version of our plugin and it’s completely working, unfortunately it’s not possible to activate it with the free version of the plugin.

Once you bought a Premium license you’ll be able to follow this guide https://complianz.io/simplified-guide-to-google-consent-mode-v2/ to choose how to activate the Consent Mode correctly.
