    Hi all,

I recently upgraded to WordPress 4.0, along with some few plugins (Jetpack inside), theoretically compatible with that 4.0 version. FYI, I continue using a child theme derived from the antique twenty-eleven theme, a theme with quite minor modifications from the parent one.

The issue is that I can create new posts without problems, but when editing posts in draft mode or already published ones, and created with previous version of WordPress, some buttons of the editor do not work. For example, the “insert link” icon does nothing, and I am neither able to switch to HTML/Text view.

Yes, I know I could avoid this by creating always new posts and forgetting about drafts, but what if a published post needs the update of a link? It is very strange. Doesn’t seem a plugin related problem, should I then update to twenty-fourteen theme just in case?

    Thanks and regards,

I tried just in case the formula of deactivating all plugins and activating them one by one. This procedure clearly showed that the editor gets crazy with the “Pinterest plugin”, by Promotioner, I had. I removed that plugin, and the editor, and everything else, seems to be working fine right now.

    Hope this auto-feedback helps.

    Thanks and regards,
