problems with the featured image of the blog

1. As for the blog page so there is used an image from Appearance > Customize > Header Image. Most likely you did not pick any image there.

2. The featured image of the post themes to be placed above the title https://prntscr.com/y98o4e Could you clarify the point?

You may hide the featured images of the posts on the blog page for mobile devices by applying the CSS style below:

@media (max-width:720px){
	.blog .post .post-thumbnail{
	display:none;
}
}

If you want to hide the image for all devices then you may use the style below:

.blog .post .post-thumbnail{
	display:none;
}

You may add it to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

As another solution is to create a custom page for your Blog and use the Custom Post Type block by Getwid to display the Posts in a way you prefer. This block allows you to edit the Post Template so you may remove the featured image or put it as background, etc. Let us know if it is helpful.
