    Hi there.
I’m sure it’s something really simple that I’m not doing right, but when I bring up the /wp-admin/install.php page, having adjusted the config file and uploaded everything to my bravenet server (which provides full MySQL and php support) using dreamweaver, I get all sorts of errors.

    Here’s a screenshot of what I get:

Any ideas? The config file is correct – Ive checked it about fifteen times just to be sure. An help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

I am having the same problems. Php is enabled on my server and I have logged in to WordPress. What else could be the problem?

    Thank you

Any help that anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

I’ll double check it again, Samboll – thankyou for your input.
If anyone else does have any ideas though I’d love to hear them, just in case.

    Thanks!

I’ve just spent a few hours going back to zero and starting from reloading WAMp then WP trying to sort this out.

I am now bald – but I’ve finally sorted it out. `The fail happens when you follow the link as set out in readme.html which starts the

    Installation: Famous 5-minute install

Item 5: Open /wp-admin/install.php in your browser. Clicking on this link causes the fail.

I had to type the full path into a new browser tab e.g. https://domain or localhost/wordpress directory/wp-admin/install.php`

Yup – I feel a bit stupid now as it seems I was trying to load the install page from my local server rather than from the remote location I should have gone to.

You hit the nail on the head.
