Problems with the WP Dashboard

  • My WP Dashboard is having trouble loading properly. I’m getting all the links/buttons etc but there’s no content or theme. I’ve screenshot it and provided a link above. Can somebody have a look please?

  • It looks like the CSS files aren’t loading.

    When did this start? Did you recently update to WordPress 4.9.6?

    You can open your browser’s developer console, and then the Network tab, to see what’s happening when the .css files try to load. They may be getting a 404 or 500 error, etc.

    If you haven’t done that before, you can find out how by Googling it.

    It started maybe a week ago? WordPress is up to date and so are all the plugins? I can go to say ‘plugins’ and it loads normally but the main dashboard doesnt.

    Ah, ok, that’s different than the problem I’ve seen, then. I’m not sure what would be causing that.
