• If someone can help I would really appreciate it. The thing is my webpage consists of Front page and six other pages (like products, location and so) – seven altogether and that works just fine. So I have seven pages that work fine, and the problem appears only when I publish page eight or higher.

It means that on every other page (after mine 7 pages that work fine), wordpress adds title of the new page on top (header) and it does so on every single page (for example – the eight page is titled “FAQ” and when I publish it the title “FAQ” is embedded in the header of every single page). And when I delete the title it says “#279 (no title)” on every single page.

Like I said, this only happens when I add eight, ninth or higher pages, and then it is embedded on all pages (including front page). All the settings on these new pages are the same as on previous 7 pages, so I don’t understand why this is happening.

One of the seven pages that works fine is “Products”. So I did a little test and unpublished (saved as draft) the page “Products” and then published the page “FAQ” (which used to be eight page, but now is seventh since I’ve unpublished “Products”). And in that scenario no title of the page “FAQ” was embedded in the header, everything was fine. And then I published again the page “Products” (which was now the eight page since “FAQ” was now seventh), and now the same problem occurred, only now it happened with the page “Products” since it was now the eight page and on every single page (header) was embedded title “Products”.

Here is url of a webpage (not mine) but the one I’ve found that seems to have similar issue:

  • Hi there,

If you navigate in the WP Admin to Appearance -> Menus, you will find the option Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu under Menu Settings. When this option is selected, every time you publish a new page, the page will be added to the selected menu. It sounds like you currently have this enabled. Disable this option and then remove the unwanted menu items from the menu assigned to your header location. You can re-add any pages to the menu after you correct the page titles.

    Good luck!
