Since the last update, my set language is no longer displayed correctly in Elementor. Nothing has been changed in the language settings in WordPress.
Some texts are in German others that were previously in German are now suddenly in English.
    Examples:
    Exit to Dashboard
    before: Elementor verlassen
    now: no translation

    Update
    before: Speichern
    now:no translation
    and so on…….

    With kind regards

    Hello,

all translations are up to date. The translation files have not changed since the update (I think they are from December). Only the elementor/wordpress version has changed since then.
It’s just strange that suddenly not everything is translated. Before the update everything worked.

    Hi,

Thanks for the input, and my apology for the inconvenience this is causing.

The next step would be to remove the Elementor core installation, and then install it again and ensuring again that the translations are up-to-date.

In other similar instances, this has shown to fix this issue.

Let us know if this helped.

    Regards,

    Gil

    Hello,

how should this work? Uninstall Elementor under Plugins and then reinstall?
Won’t all my settings, templates and styles be gone/destroyed then?

Also re-downloading and transfering only the core folder did nothing.
I did a rollback to version 3.0.9 on my test site and everything works fine there.

    Hello,

Please the first backup your website then make these changes.
So you can ensure that nothing is missed.

    Hello,

unfortunately my question was not answered whether I can uninstall Elementor without losses and then reinstall it.
My site is based on Elementor. If I uninstall Elementor and then reinstall it I need to be sure that everything still works.
It is strange that with an old version everything works fine!

    Regards

    @ jidwictut9

This is how I solved the problem. I deleted the language file from Free and Pro via FTP. Then reinstalled both and it was fine. Do not uninstall Elementor. Just reinstall and you’re done. Also all .json files like this:
    elementor-de_DE_formal-e16f2427ce816c4dc38ad0b36edc3ef2.json

    Hello,
I have deleted via FTP all language files .mo, .po and .json and then reinstalled…….everything works again. Thanks for the tip.

    @ eule1

See above. I have described the solution.

Reinstall Elementor Free/Pro, the language files will be installed automatically. But you don’t need to delete Elementor first. Just install over it. Done.
