    Hi!

I have some problems with updating my woocommerce frontpage.
It seems that I have the same problem on all my websites…
    Please help me!

I have already tried to clear my cache on firefox.

    Thanks!

How did you create your front page? Please elaborate.

Have you gone to Settings > Reading and checked which page you are loading as the front page is actually chosen?

If you could provide a url too that would be helpful as well.

It’s just an ordinaty site on wordpress.
    Yeah, I have checked that…

    I use the theme Storefront.

Can you supply a screenshot of that please?

    Thanks for the screenshot!

It looks like your homepage is built with the slider shortcode, then a WooCommerce shortcode showing 4 products by ID, listed here:

Are you unable to save the page when you make changes, or have you added products or something else and now want them to display on the homepage with the rest of the products?

If you can provide us with a bit more information about exactly what you’re looking to update on the homepage, we can continue helping here. Thanks!

The things that you can see on the screenshot is what I have now on my homepage.

I will just make some changes on my home page, but I can’t update.
Example: I would like to change the product ID’s, but nothing happens when I click save.
I just receive “error” when I’m trying to save my changes.

It’s really strange because I have the same problem on all my sites (+20).

Sounds like you have a permissions error and that you should reach out to your host and find out what settings are creating this. WooCommerce isn’t going to create a permissions issue with 20+ sites.

See if something has changed permission wise on your server and ask to view the error logs.

I agree with @serafinnyc, this would definitely seem to be hosting-related if it’s happening on all 20+ of your sites, and the next best step is to contact your hosting provider to have them look into this (error logs, site quota, etc.).

If you contact them and they can’t find any issues, please send us the System Status from one of your sites with issues so that we can review it.

May also be worth running a full conflict test on a staging site at that time.

@serafinnyc Thanks for helping with these! If we reply and basically state the same thing it’s because it helps us (WooCommerce) internally track where we’ve responded and which open threads still need replies, not because we have to get the last word in. ??

It’s all good Zach. That’s exactly how I look at it too. The more the merrier. ????

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
