Problems with uploading images after upgrade to version 3.5.1

    Hi,

    Since I upgraded to wordpress 3.5.1 I can not use (the improved) image uploader.

    I tried deactivating all my plug-ins, this had no effect.

    I then activated a differet theme, and could us the uploader with no problems.

    When I reactivated Minimatica theme, again the uploader will not work. I conclude that there is a problem between the Minimatical and the new version of wordpress.

    Does anybody know of any solutions to this?

    Hi,

    i am wp-beginner and have the same problem – with the wordrpess 3.5.1 i can not upload the images properly. – there is the message that a upload failer occured (but no further information)

    when i use the browser-upload, i come to a new emty site (https://mydomain.ch/wp-admin/media-new.php) – but nothing happens.

    when i use the multiple uploader there is also a failure.(it uploads the images, but the process stopps suddenly)

    when i check afterwords my mediabox- the pictures are uploaded, but it’s impossible to edit them. (message: ‘there is no image-data, please upload image again)

    i also tried to deactivate all my plugins – still the same!

    i also checked and changed my functions.php file after visiting – but without success.

    please help!

    @dominik von Moos – you should start your own thread as this one is already marked resolved – but in the meantime, try deactivating all your plugins and switching to the twentytwelve theme to see if that changes the problem.

    Sorry, I am probably not much help as a novice myself. Have you tried switching to twenty twelve theme to see if there is an issue with the current theme you are using.

    changing the function.php worked for me :/
