Problems with whatsapp

I’m having problems with whatsapp on the widget. Every time I try to enter the conversation, it says that the name is invalid.

I’m using a spanish phone number, which has 9 digits; but in the example of the plugin, there is a 10 digits phone number. Should I use +34, the code for phone calls in Spain?
