    Hi!

WordFence and Fluent Forms don’t play well together. I was unable to update confirmation emails on Fluent Forms but then deactivated WordFence and the problem disappeared.

I let Fluent Forms know about the issue and now I am letting you know.

My site is fine. I turned WordFence back on and it’s all good now. But I thought you’d want to know about this situation.

    Hi @ray-katz,

Usually when plugins that allow form submissions, images and other assets load with dynamic scripts, or file uploading are being blocked, the issue will be a false-positive. I don’t have other reports of incompatibility between our two plugins so it’s worth trying Learning Mode first.

From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues again. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/ is an amazing resource for learning more about the WAF and Learning Mode.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
