Problems with WP Forms Lite and AMP

    Hi:

    Yesterday I got the code from you to set up WP Forms Lite to work properly with AMP on my site (AMP Standard option). The page of the form was [ redundant link removed ]/contact/.

    But it appears that WP Forms Lite does not allow Mailchimp integration and the creation of extra notifications in forms.

    I seem to have to get WP Forms Pro if I want Mailchimp integration. And also if in addition to notification to admin (when a form is submitted by someone) … if I want to create an extra notification to send to the customer who filled the form, I need WP Forms Pro again.

    Instead of WP Forms Lite can I work with AMP and Gravity Forms (which gives me the Mailchimp integration and the extra notification capability?)

    On a new page on my site I have created a Gravity form ([ redundant link removed ]). Could you please let me know if I can get some code to make AMP work with Gravity Forms? It would solve many problems.

    Yes, you can use the Gravity Forms plugin instead of WPForms plugin, You just need to use a mini plugin to Make it AMP Compatible. You can find more mini plugins and extensions on our site

    I have downloaded the AMP SHIM for Gravity Forms and activated the mini-plugin, but my gravity Form is stuck on “Submitting” and not proceeding beyond that. Seems like the same problem I had with WP Forms.

    Can you please help?

    I am not able to reproduce the issue with gravity form and ship plugin active.
    As I checked you are getting non-JSON responses for the form leading to conflicts.

    Can you please make sure the AMP Shim Plugin is active also please clear the site cache once you activate the plugin?

    If that didn’t work Please try Page (from text / page / redirect options ) for Gravity Form Response.

    I did these steps…

    1. Checkif AMP SHIM Pluginis active … it is active.
    2 I purged all cashes
    3. It still did not work
    4. I changed to a page for the confirmation settings
    5. Still did not work
    6. I removed ajax=”true” in the shortcode of Gravity Forms.

    IT HAS WORKED!!!

    It is now first saying Submitting … then it says Redirecting and I see the confirmation page. I am also getting both emails, the admin notification and the subscriber notification.

    Glad to know, it worked we will make a note of that ajax="true" attribute in the shortcode for our future reference.

    I will mark this support topic as resolved.
