Problems with WPML WP Residence Child theme

Hi there!

My clients had their wopress site done by someone else and now they have contracted me to sort out some of the earlier mess. Unfortunately there are a few issues I just can′t fix so I reach out for your help.

1) When looking at the homepage on ipad/tablet in vertical the site gets cut off.

2) On the searchpage (property search) there is also a problem where the site gets cut off by banner space. I think it′s a problem with the map but I can′t manage to fix it and the clients want the map in someway.

3) They are using string translatios as the page is in several languages and even though words are translated correctly the page is showing the original (english) word when looking on a property in spanish (the topics on the tabs are not translated, only one).

4) Also, there is a color filter or opacity automaticaly set on top of pictures and headers. Can I take that away?
