Proceed to checkout not working

I’m trying to help a friend with her WooCommerce site; when you click the proceed to checkout button it just scrolls you back to the top of the screen–the order isn’t recorded in the backend either. I’ve tried everything I can think of and looking for some guidance!

• Not console errors are showing
• I’ve unchecked force SSL checkout
• I’ve updated her WooCommerce templates which were older versions
