    Hello,

I gather shortcodes aren’t being processed in manually created tables?
That’s a bummer… Is there any way to enable shortcode processing? This is a vital feature and we were going to buy the Pro version, but I don’t think this feature is available in Pro either?

    Thanks.

    Hi there.

There’s an option to parse shortcode in strings. You need to enable this slider in main settings of wpDataTables before you’re able to use shortcodes inside the tables.

This feature is available both in Lite and full version of the plugin.

    Best regards.

Hey, can’t believe I overlooked that option. Thanks!

However, I have a new issue now ??
Basically, my shortcodes produce numbers (results of some calculations). Now, when I try to build a chart using the column with shortcodes – it won’t let me do that because it sees cell values as strings. I do have a different column with strings already (names). The column with shortcodes I’m referring to has numbers (think KPIs), but the plugin won’t allow me to use it in the chart because it’s set to string. Which kinda kills the whole purpose…

Is there any way to override this behavior? Like a filter I can hook into? Happy to modify plugin code for the time being, but that would be the last resort.
