Thanks for the good feedback and for your question.

I looked into RSS feeds a bit to answer this earlier support topic:

ATT Category and tags in RSS

Setting aside the “Att. Categories and Tags” aspect of the earlier topic, the short answer is that there is no support I know of for attaching an RSS feed to Media Library uploads.

WordPress built-in RSS feeds are designed for blog updates and comments. The WordPress Feeds Codex page has links to a number of resources (which I have not explored) for customizing feeds, and there are plugins to help with this as well.

The easiest solution I can think of would be to create a “recent uploads” post of some sort that includes an [mla_gallery] shortcode containing the most recent images, or all images after a given upload date. You can create a separate feed for just those posts and then write a new post when you want your users to be alerted to new material. You could use some of the date handling techniques in this earlier topic to control which images appear in the gallery:

    Schedule attachment

I am marking this topic resolved just because there is nothing in the current version of MLA that is feed-specific. If you look at the other resources I pointed to and come up with a more specific approach, post an update here and I will work with you to see how MLA can contribute to your application. Thanks again for your interest in the plugin.

Thank you very much for the “recent uploads” post idea. I will investigate in that direction, and let you know if I reach a satisfying solution that might interest others.
