• Hi @paulstuttard,

I noticed here that you are not planning to update the plugin for PA API 5. I just released a plugin for PA API 5 and made it so that it’s easy to migrate from your plugin. It picks shortcodes from your plugin and displays products. I tested with the following shortcodes:

    [amazon asin=<ASIN Number>&text=<link text>]
    [amazon asin=<ASIN Number>&title=<link text>&thumb=<image url>&template=thumbnail]

The plugin for sure doesn’t have as many features as yours, but it’s a basic solution for anybody who might need to urgently migrate after PA API 4 stops working.

Documentation and installation instructions are available here.

Thanks for maintaining this plugin all these years and if you at any time decide to resume, feel free to use my code.

    Regards,
    Blaz

@philetdanyboulanger I made it for a website that was using Amazon Link plugin and had to urgently migrate ?? Let me know if you have any questions, and if you are a developer feel free to contribute. The plugin is easy to extend.

I implemented it. Works fine, I tuned it for amazon.fr. The only missing element I haven’t found is the price of the product in the available set of information.
Is it a limitation of the Amazon API or you plugin ?
Not critical at all, just nice to have…

Hi @philetdanyboulanger, sorry for my late reply. I’m quite sure that Amazon PA API provides prices, but in this particular project they weren’t required. Maybe I’ll add the functionality in the future, depending on the interest ??
