    Hi all,

I’m currently building my website (offline) and have just imported, edited, and saved a template for the ‘Product Archive Page Template.’ I then inserted the ‘WL: Product Archive Layout (Default)’ into my shop page. In the Elementor editor it shows up, but when I update and preview the changes, the layout doesn’t show.

Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Thomas

    Hello,

It seems that you haven’t assigned the template yet.

Please assign the custom template from the WooLentor settings panel.

Hopefully, it will fix the problem ??

    Thanks a lot,

    Hey,

Thanks for getting back to me. I have it assigned already in the Woocommerce section of the settings.

    Any further ideas?

    Thanks,

    Hi @thomasscottphoto

    You are very welcome ??

We are not talking about the WooCommerce section of the settings.

You need to assign the custom template from the WooLentor settings panel.

Also, please let us know if you had modified the default Shop page of WooCommerce.

We’ll be looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I have assigned it there. My website is live now, thomasscottphoto.co.uk

The template isn’t showing in the shop.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

It seems that it is happening because earlier you had modified the default “Shop” page that comes with WooCommerce.

That’s why the custom template is not working properly.

Please kindly follow the steps below:

    1. Go to the edit screen of the default Shop page and click on “Back to WordPress Editor”.

    https://prntscr.com/vl73kb

    2. Then you can see the content that you had added previously using Elementor.

    https://prntscr.com/vl746v

    3. Remove all the contents that were added via Elementor and update the page.

    https://prntscr.com/vl75qo

    4. Now keep the default page as it is. After that assign the custom Elementor template (not this default one) as the Shop page.

Hopefully, everything will be alright ??

    Best of luck!
