  • Hello,

    Suddenly Product Attribute Filter isn’t showing on the page anymore

    Did you make any changes before it started such as updating or adding plugins?

    You’ll first want to do a full conflict test to determine if the issue is coming from a plugin/theme conflict. To determine what’s causing the issue, please temporarily switch your theme back to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable plugins one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

    Hi,

    I haven’t made any changes and already tried disabling all plugins/themes.

    Hi @basvweb

    Hmm…that’s strange. Can you go to variable products and check if global attributes are applied to them? – on Product data panel, go to Attribute and click Custom Product Attribute, if global attributes are being used, they will be grayed out and not selectable:

    @maykato

    We don’t use variable products.. There used to be a filter so people can search for the brand (brand was an attribute) but that suddenly disappeared..

    Hey @basvweb,

    Thanks for clarifying that.

    If you’re still using Legacy Widgets, when using the new Block Widgets Editor, to maintain full widget settings functionality you must install the Classic Widgets plugin which restores the previous (“classic”) WordPress widgets settings screens.

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/classic-widgets/

    Read more about this on our support documentation – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-product-search/widgets/.

    Thanks.

    Hi, I have done this already but the filter still doesn’t show up. It shows in the widget area but not on the page.. All the other filters do show and whenever I add something that also shows but only the attributes filter does not show..

    Hi @basvweb,

    Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the widget area and the attributes that need to be filtered?

    I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat.

    Thank you!

    @wpniall Hi

    Thank you for your help but I have solved the problem. All the brand attributes were deleted so no products where linked to the brands.
