Product attributes disappears

  • When I change a current Woocommerce product to auction, it removes all of the attributes and variations from the listing. Even when I replace with simple products options, the variations such as sizes, colors, etc are still not restored.
    But when I look at the attributes tab in the edit products page, they are all there. How an I fix this?

    Hi @wishbargains ,

    We would not recommend to change simple product to auction and vice versa and the reason is that both are different WC “product types” where in certain attributes are not applicable to “auction” product type such as “variations” and thus it does not allow it. If you have to add auction products, please create new auction product.

    And with regards to auctioning variations (such as color, size), we would like to hear your perspective as to how would you like auction to work for variation products. If you have a tshirt with three sizes then you cannot invite bids for the product but for a specific variation and that would be difficult to do. Isn’t it? What is your perspective?
