It seems to me there’s an opportunity for someone to do a video about how to use attributes that DO NOT use t-shirt color and/or size attributes as variations.

My problem is that attributes that are not used for variations do not show up on the product page. I have tried switching to the storefront theme, this does not solve the problem.

The product is set up as a variable product, specifically a plate with a pretraced design they can fill in. There is one attribute for the specific design that is used for a variations. This shows up as expected..

However, I also need to let them choose six out of fifty colours to paint with. This is not a product variation, it’s an extra item that is added to the order at no charge. This page from a different studio, shows how I want it to look: https://hotpotspottery.com/product/i-love-you-mom-coloring-book-pottery-tile-plaque/

I have one such color attribute defined “Ceramic Paint main color”, and it has terms for each color

In the product, the design and the main color attributes are present in the attribute tab

The checkbox for “visible on product page” is checked for all attributes.
The checkbox for “used for variation” is checked for the design attribute

However, ONLY the design attribute is shown as a popup on the product page.
All the attributes, are listed on the “Additional information” tab.

    What am I missing ?
