Hello, I noticed when products are imported and email campaigns are sent, the images within the product blocks are loading directly from my website. This is causing my bandwidth usage to go up and feels like a bit of a cop-out from MailChimp to not host these images!

Hoping you can import the images instead, as this takes one of the best features in the meantime

Hi @smgdarien, thanks for reaching out. Currently, the plugin is designed to pull the product images from your website so the most up to date images show up on a campaign. A possible work around could be to upload the product images manually to the Mailchimp Content Studio. That way, when you build your campaign, the images could be hosted on Mailchimp. Keep in mind that design would be more “static” in nature, since it isn’t pulling things directly from your website.

Here at the plugin team, we focus on the engineering of the plugin between your store and Mailchimp. If you have additional questions on how to use the Mailchimp feature set, please get in touch with our support team. They would be able to access your account and help with questions related to the Content Studio and/or building campaigns. You can reach out to their excellent customer service team here: https://admin.mailchimp.com/support/woo-forum. You should be able to chat with them and take things from there.

Thanks again for getting in touch, let us know if there’s anything else we can do.

I’ve opted for MailerLite as a fix, they load the latest photos using a CDN on their end and check for updates on the origin’s host
