    Is it possible to restrict an author to a specific product category? Or is there other free option that I could use?
    Also, why it isn’t compatible with the recent update of wordpress.

    What issues are you having with the most recent version of WordPress specifically? I have a fresh install with the latest and its all working proper on my end.

    This only currently supports post categories.
