Hi again, back with a new problem hoping for some help!

I have finally started getting my shop the way I want it to look, but I’m running into one small detail. I set the shop to have a left sidebar column, inside of which I have placed the “product categories” widget.
As it is, this widget creates a select box that when clicked, will open up a list of the product categories I have created. When you click on one, it goes to that categories shop page. This is working as it was intended I believe. My question is, rather than having to click on the select box, is there a way to always have the list of categories visible? It is not obvious as a navigation menu until it’s clicked on.
    Any suggestions?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello @jax2 thanks for checking in with a support question. Unfortunately your theme is a 3rd party Premium theme from Themeforest and we do not support those here. However, having said that you want to use a list rather than a dropdown. Hopefully your theme hasn’t overridden any of these features.

I’m sorry, I thought the widgets were a core function and not different between themes. I had the same experience using the storefront theme. I will, however, try to figure out how to make it a list rather than the dropdown widget. Thanks!

Hello again @jax2 It can depend a lot of the theme you’re using. Some themes can override those widgets and add their own.

@jax2 Here’s a loom on how to make that a list rather than a drop down

Thanks again – I took a look and verified that I have it set as a list and not a drop-down. Perhaps it is dependent on the theme then, because mine still shows on the left sidebar as:

    All Categories \/

and does not show the list of categories until the down arrow is clicked to expand it. I’d really like it to be visible as soon as the page is loaded without requiring a click. If that is indeed something that is dependent on which theme is installed than I thank you for your time and I’ll try and find help from the theme creators.

Hello @jax2 thanks for explaining further. I believe you are using the theme’s Product Categories as I see different code.
