Product Category name is missing in paypal order details

    Hey Team,
    I am using woo-commerce on my website https://morningmogul.com/ but it is not sending the product category name to PayPal with the order details. I have to go on my woo-commerce account to see what my customers are ordering then I have to write down what category they’re ordering then log into PayPal to fulfill the orders it should be one site. It is taking to much. Can you please guide me on how I can get the product category name with the Paypal order details?

    Product Category is not part of the information sent to PayPat at the moment of purchase. When a payment is made with PayPal Standard, the gateway receives this information:

    * Product name
    * Price
    * Quantity

    There are some limitations to those as well, depending on settings and quantity. You can read more about it here.

    It sounds like your workflow requires product category to be shared with PayPal – but I’m afraid that is information that isn’t typically shared with a payment gateway.
