    Hello,

    I am using Yoast SEO and WooCommerce.

    I recently observed that no image appears in Google for my product categories pages. I did define an image for each of my product categories but it doesn’t appear in the Yoast SEO Google preview neither on Google. Example

    Is it possible to make the image I choose for my product category appear on Google ?

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. If I understand correctly, you expect the product category thumbnail to show up in search results. By default, the Yoast SEO plugin outputs an image on your site in the schema under the?primaryImageOfPage?property. For this product category, this is the image detected. This means that the Yoast SEO plugin is working as expected.

    It’s important to note that whether Google displays the image in the search results is entirely up to Google. Apart from the schema markup for the primaryImage in the schema data, there are other factors (i.e., authority, context, etc.) that Google may take into account to decide whether or not to display an image next to your pages.
