Product Condition and Brand Attributes
-
Hello. I had endless issues with this plugin. In the end I removed it completely and want to start fresh. I sell vintage one-off items therefore product condition needs to be set to used (used_good or used_fair according to Facebook guidelines). However no matter what I try, all my products are sent to the Facebook catalogue as ‘new’. Where does this plugin pick up and map the condition attribute from? How can I make sure I get the correct product condition transferred to the catalogue?
A similar issue is with brand. Because all my products have different brands, and sometimes unbranded due to their vintage condition, I need to reflect this in the catalogue. I use the ‘Perfect Brands’ plugin for my brands. However the Facebook for WooCommerce never picks up these brands, but instead displays my company name as brand on the catalogue.
Once the products are migrated to the catalogue with these wrong settings, I can’t seem to manually edit the fields in Facebook. It would be ideal to send the correct info in the first place, but manual edit is also fine as long as it’s possible.
Any help would be appreciated before I re-install this plugin.
Many thanks.
