This issue is being caused by another plugin or your theme.

Try temporarily switching back to the WordPress Twenty Sixteen Theme, or Storefront, and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then slowly re-enable features until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

I have a feeling it might be related to W3 Cache tool. i installed that and it caused issues so had to remove manually. tried installing again and removing properly and no help.

but noticed another issue the menu bit in customer isn’t displaying any options under the page, post, products etc.

i currently use a child Storefront theme. i have deactivated all the plugins that are not made by wootheme and no change.

would a manual reinstall of wooCommerce help

Not sure I understand what you mean by this. Could you elaborate further? Also, can you post a link to screenshots of what you see on product pages that makes it impossible to edit the details?

You can try replacing the WooCommerce plugin with a freshly downloaded copy if you want, not sure if that is the answer here though. First I would try disabling everything except for WooCommerce and switching to a default theme. Don’t leave any other plugins activated.

    Thanks for all the help.

Managed to get a version of my site and disabled other plugins and it all came back to working correctly when i disabled “WooCommerce Custom Product Designer plugin”.

I’ve raised the issue with the developer.
