• Hi. I an currently building a website on my local computer before transferring to our site. We are using WP-Event Manager with additional add-ons for registration, attendee list, and sell tickets.

we want to be able to restrict the ticket sales so that 1 ticket depends on another.

I found your Free WooCommerce Plugin and thought Great!!!, just what I am looking for except is does not work.

it works fine on the standard product types, but when the Event Ticket Type is selected, your dependencies tab gets removed.

Can your plugin be amended to include non standard product types?.

I am not a PHP programmer, but I am ‘technical’, so I can follow instructions.

    Best regards

    Matt

    Hey @westhantscamc,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Currently, Product Dependencies supports the following product types:
    1. Simple Products.
    2. Variable Products.
    3. Product Bundles.
    4. Composite Products.
    5. Bookable Products.

On our side, we do not maintain an integration with WP-Event Manager — that’s why you don’t see the Dependencies field for Event Ticket products. Moreover, we do not have any plans to add an integration with this plugin in the near future — however, if this compatibility request becomes more popular, we will definitely consider looking into this sooner.

In the meantime, if this is urgent for you, it is a good idea to consider hiring an experienced WooCommerce developer to help you build an integration between the two plugins. This integration should ensure that the Dependencies tab shows up for Event Ticket products and also that dependencies are correctly evaluated for this product type.

For WordPress/WooCommerce customizations of this scale, we highly recommend https://codeable.io/.

Let us know how it goes!
