Product Description is Repeated in the Post

    Don,
    When I create a single post by entering an ASIN and checking the Hook into Content and the Show Amazon Description options, the post gets created. However, it the Amazon description is repeated twice. The first part is what is expected coming from Amazon but it repeats again below the description as an additional content.

    I tested version 3.64 of this plugin.

    I need a bit more info on this one. Can you tell me exactly what you are doing and how you create the post (and the ASIN you are using). I am not getting similar result when testing, so I need to try to recreate the issue so we can address it.

    Post Status: publish

    Post Type: post

    Amazon ASIN Number: 073901983X (or 149609249X)

    Split ASINs? checked (not needed)

    Product Location: Above Post Content checked

    Additional Items: Show Amazon Description? checked

    Category/Taxonomy for post: <any Category; in my case it is a Book Reviews>

    Action -> Click on Create Amazon Product Post & Return Here

    Go to Post -> All Post

    Click View to view the newly created post. You will find:
    – the book title
    – description next to the book picture
    – Price
    – Buy from amazon.com button

    – the description repeated showing underneath the Buy from amazon.com button

    I will probably need to do a check when populating the data on this type of execution. When you leave the content area blank, it prompts the plugin to use the product description if there is one. In this instance, checking to use the description should not be necessary as you will be getting the description as the post content so you don’t need it.

    I will mark this as needing an adjustment of some kind for the future. It is not really a bug as it functions as it is intended, just needs a modification to not have the description checked when the description is added as well.
