Product display as ‘out of stock’ even if inventory is disabled

As I understand you have the stock management option disabled on your products, however you’re still seeing some of them as out of stock when saving a product (is this only when creating or also when updating?).

Can you share a screenshot of your WooCommerce > Settings > Inventory, please? For instance:

Please keep in mind that the stock management option is to manage quantities, but you can still mark your products as in stock or out of stock by changing their stock status individually on the product page (the default option is “In stock”, so this shouldn’t be a problem either, but it’s worth checking this). For instance:

I’m curious to learn more about this issue you’re facing. Can you tell us if your WooCommerce (and its database and any relevant plugin), WordPress, and theme are all up to date? Additionally, do you have any plugin or code snippet in place that would tweak the product creation/edit page or the product stock in any way?

Thanks for your reply
The out of stock message appears ‘suddenly’ and randomly for products.
Message disapears when I save/update the product the product.
Message appears even when product is not sold in the shop.

Woocommerce, wordpress and all plugins are updated.
I don’t have any plugins or scripts running for stockmanagement, but offcourse for other purposes.
Website is build with elementor and crocoblock jetengine

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

to understand the website: on our webshop are severall products to hire. We used woocommerce for it and created product variations for the hire period. (day / week / month). The checkout process is just a regular woocommerce without any payment.
I confirm that I don’t see any simillarities and the out of stock message does not appear with recent ordered products.

Everything seems in order with the SSR. The errors do not seem to be related to the stock issue.

Can you please run a conflict test to see if something external is interfering with this?

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

— Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

— It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.
