Product Featured Image Not Displayed

    When I create a product page for Woocommerce the product image is not displayed, it does however show up in the description.

    How do I make the Amazon primary image show as the featured image in a product page?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    The product image does not get set to the featured image because of Amazon’s terms of service (you cannot cache an image for more than 24 hours).

    If you want to use an Amazon Product image as a Featured image, you need to do the following:

    • Turn on the Amazon Featured Image feature in the plugin settings.
    • After you add a product, copy the amazon image URL you want to use as the featured image, and paste it into the Amazon Featured Image metabox setting field (usually on the right side under the Featured Images section).
    • Then update the post/page/product

    It has to be a URL because that way is loads from Amazon CDN every time and meets the terms of service for your Amazon Affiliate account.

    Thanks Don.

    But it’s not actually the featured image I need, it’s the product image. Doesn’t your plugin import the product image? Perhaps it’s a problem with my theme. I’m using Flatsome.

    The product image is not imported by the plugin, but it should be displayed if using the amazon product functionality. It could be the theme or an ad blocker (if you are using one).

    If you send me a link to where it is happening (send to [email protected]) and I can take a look and see what is going on.
