    Hi, I’ve been struggling with this for a few days now. The first time I processed the feed for google, it worked straight away, however when I uploaded it to google the shipping field was missing by default so it got disapproved. I added the field and reprocessed the feed in the plugin, but ever since then it won’t go past 0%.

    I’ve tried deleting the field and creating a new one, deactivating the plugin, even removing the plugin and starting from scratch.

    I had one fatal memory error relating to the plugin yesterday but not seen one since then.

    Just about to give up!

  • Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with updating your feed when adding shipping costs. The fatal memory issue does indicate that the plugin is running into server configuration limitations when updating the feed, you might be able to solve that by lowering the batch size of the plugin from the default 750 products per batch to a much lower number, such as 250. This tutorial describes how to do so: https://adtribes.io/batch-size-configuration-product-feed/

    Alternatively when that doesn’t work you can also opt for adding your shipping costs directly to your Google Merchant Center instead of your feed. The second part of this tutorial describes how: https://adtribes.io/add-shipping-costs-google-shopping-feed/

    Hope this helps?

    Thanks for the quick response. I have managed to get it to work by using the batch setting. I tried adding shipping via the plugin but it is not in the right format. I looked at my previous xml file generated on a different platform and they looked like this (this has worked for the last 2 years with google merchant).

    <g:shipping>
    		<g:country>GBR</g:country>
    		<g:service>Standard</g:service>
    		<g:price>0.00 GBP</g:price>
    	</g:shipping>

    I will try adding it directly onto google but I’m using the woocommerce weight based shipping plugin (not the ones you recommend) and when I try and add the shipping label field in the plugin, I can see it in the google column but not the value column?

    When you are using a 3th party shipping plugin that is not supported by our plugin (which you are) than indeed adding the shipping costs to your feed most likely won’t work.

    What attribute have you used for mapping to Google’s shipping label field?

    Well I didn’t add a shipping field in the mapping area in the end and setup the shipping details directly on google merchant and hey presto, it’s all working and google is happy!

    I had to change my product description mapping to unconditional product description as some of my items were too big.

    Thank you for your help.

    Perfect, good to hear you got it to work!
