    Good Day,

Please see debug URL for possible solutions to my issue.

I have been using your plugin for just on 6 months now and everything has been working fine. I have all the necessary System Status Checks to be “True” and before yesterday my product feed worked 100%.

After the recent WordPress Update, the XML Scheduled fetch now fetches a file with 0 Products in.

I believed this to maybe be an issue with the plugin that needed to be updated to be compatible with the newest version of WordPress and As Usual the Update of your Plugin came very timeously but the issue was not resolved with an update of Product Feed Pro for WooCommerce.

My only other thought could be that the files for Woocommerce themselves may be out of date that will be causing this issue.

Your plugin is of top quality and i would hate to move to a new plugin because of an issue like this.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for your kind words. I had a look at your debug.log and noticed two possible reasons for your feed being empty.

    • It seems that you did not enable the include variations option. Since you do have variant products I suggest you enable this option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/aowcbihu05f8e2g/enable.png?dl=0
    • When the enabling of the above option is not doing the trick you could have a look at the three exclude filters you created. We have fixed some bugs, especially related to ’empty’ filter a couple of releases back so this could have had an unexpected result for your feeds. I would start testing by removing 1, re-process the feed manually and then check if the feed contains products again. Than you know what filter is responsible for the empty feed.

Let me know if any of these two options was the cause.

    All the best

    Hi Eva,

So as it seems the product feed filters were the issue. However it wasn’t a specific filter that caused it to not fetch the products. It seems to have been a combination of the filter exclusions as I tested all of them and only when i removed all the filters would it count all my products. I also allowed the variants but because of the way I have set up my Variable products i do not want Google to show the variations.

I am going to test now without the variation setting enabled and see if it works. Will keep you updated.

    Thanks,
    Dean

I had one filter and removed that. Seems many have this problem now Eva? My products disappeared two days ago, removed filter and they are back, however with heaps of warnings and erros in merchant.

    Hi Plue,

As far as we have seen all issues users have with filters can be explained and solved so judging from what we have seen we don’t think anything specifically broke with the last releases.

What did happen though is that we actually fixed a bug in the filter feature. Filters that where set on empty attributes didn’t do anything, they were non-functioning. We solved that bug so it could explain for ‘different’ behaviour than users are used to.
