Product filter above products on mobile

Hi guys
im about to use YITH product filter free version on my storefront child theme
the idea is to get it to show just before the products list on the mobile version
how should i do this?
ive seen different ways to do this (css), none of them worked, so im starting to think on doing it creating a new widget area, but ive never done smthing like this before with wordpress/storefront, doing it as this post says: LINK TO POST
