Here is the issue I’m having:
My woocommerce shop (URL provided) has 60+ products. The default sort order is by price. The sidebar on the left uses your free ajax filter plugin to filter on attributes. Choose “Team building & corporate” from the GROUP/OCCASION filter. It returns 4 products, as expected. But if you then try to sort the 4 products by NAME it reverts to showing the original 60-70 products instead of sorting the 4 products by NAME.

Why? Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

On a possibly related subject, I’ve noticed there is a “take control of woocommerce sorting” checkbox in the settings. What does it do? – as I can’t find any detailed documentation on it. Turning it on and off seems to make no difference to the problem above.

    Hope you can help please.

    Hi there,

thanks for contact us! We are sorry about that but the plugin it’s not integrated with the default sorting option. To solve this issue we added a new filter to manage product sorting but it’s only available in commercial version of this plugin.

    Thanks for your reply.

Interesting to hear that it’s a bug that you’ve failed to fix, let alone publicise! Neither approach is very helpful for customers! – many of whom might go on and buy the commercial version. So it creates a bad impression regarding your company, product and level of support.

In fact, I was considering buying the commercial version (as I may use the product category filter) but am left wondering if it is buggy too, and if there are issues with it that are also not publicised or communicated to customers.

Consequently, as I feel I can’t trust the product and your company I will take my business elsewhere.

    Hi @xmarksthespot
we think there has been a misunderstanding with our previous reply for which we do apologize. In fact, the plugin doesn’t have a bug since the sorting is managed by WooCommerce itself which, unfortunately, doesn’t allow customizing it. To bypass this behavior, we have created a filter, as a workaround, that allows replacing WooCommerce sorting and showing it as a filter.
So, we would like to clarify there is no bug about this matter in our plugin.
We hope this clarifies your doubts and make ourselves available for any further information you need.
