Product forces PHP “Maximum execution time” error

Well, the problem isn’t really having the error… the main problem is that it takes A LOT to charge all the variables… the error is the result.

As I said, the problem is not the error. Error is the consequence.

Is woocommerce able to load a product with 500 variants without problem? Is this a server problem or a WooCommerce/Wordpress problem?

Hi @merock,

WooCommerce can manage thousands of variations but your server has to be configured to handle this. I would suggest reaching out to your hosting company and asking them to increase your resources. If that can’t be done on your current plan you’d want to upgrade the plan or change your hosting provider.

PHP version 7.4 or greater is recommended. I haven’t seen your site’s SSR, though.

You can check it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report”.
